Meet & Greet - Match

There’s also a special guest joining us this year — Match, an acclaimed illustrator known for work across manga, anime and games, with fans around the world. Meet Match in person through limited artist meet-and-greet packages, with session details and availability to be announced on CAP’s official social media channels.

Whether you’re bringing inventory to sell, hunting for grail cards, meeting fellow collectors or competing in the two-day Riftbound tournament, a little planning can make your CAPS EXPO weekend even better.

Here’s your guide to nearby hotels, quick mid-show meals, Match’s meet-and-greet guidelines and where to head after the show.

1. Where to Stay: Hotels Near Singapore EXPO

When you’re carrying heavy binders and valuable stock, staying nearby can make a real difference. Singapore EXPO Hall 6A is connected to Expo MRT Station on the East-West and Downtown Lines, making the surrounding Changi area a convenient base for the weekend.

Dorsett Changi City Singapore (~4-minute walk)

  • Best for: Vendors, exhibitors and attendees who want to stay close to the venue.

  • Why stay here: Located near Expo MRT Station and Changi City Point, these hotels offer convenient access to the show floor and nearby food options. Ideal if you need to drop off purchases or take a breather between event days.

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport (1 MRT stop away)

  • Best for: Attendees who want convenient airport access.

  • Why stay here: Located at Changi Airport Terminal 3, with Expo MRT Station just one stop away on the East-West Line.

  • Pro tip: If you’re heading straight to the airport after the event, check luggage storage arrangements with the hotel in advance.

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore (~5–8-minute drive)

  • Best for: Drivers, vendors carrying equipment or anyone who prefers a resort-style stay.

  • Why stay here: Located within Laguna National Golf Resort Club, it’s a quieter option after a full day of trading and tournaments.

  • Pro tip: Allow extra time for your commute, especially if you need to arrive early for booth setup.

2. Fast Mid-Show Eats: Changi City Point

Never trade or compete on an empty stomach! Changi City Point is a convenient pit stop near Hall 6A, with air-conditioned dining options, takeaway and casual eateries.

  • How to get there: Follow the signs towards Expo MRT Station and head towards Changi City Point via Exit F.

  • Pro tip: Playing in the 128-player Riftbound tournament or running a booth? Grab your food during off-peak hours so you don’t miss a match pairing, an important trade or a potential deal.

3. Meet & Greet with Match: Signature and Artwork Guidelines

Looking to get your favourite collectible signed or request an original sketch? Before meeting Match at CAPS EXPO 2026, take note of the official guidelines on signature colours, artwork requests, package limits and attendee conduct.

3.1. Signature Options

Signatures and sketches will be available in black, gold, silver, green, blue and red. Other colours may be available, subject to availability.

Have a preferred colour in mind? Plan ahead, but remember that additional colours are not guaranteed.

3.2. Artwork Policy

All sketch requests must follow the artist’s artwork policy:

  • Original works only: Requests must be limited to the artist’s original works.

  • Original designs and event-related themes: Attendees may request an original design or an event-related theme, subject to the artist’s approval.

  • No imitations of other TCG franchises: Requests to change an original character’s colours or distinctive features to resemble characters from another trading card game franchise will not be accepted.

If you’re planning a sketch request, keep your idea original and within the guidelines. Final approval rests with the artist.

3.3. Package Prices and Item Size Restrictions

There are only two packages available: Elite and Platinum.

  • Elite Package — $500: Shikishi board measuring 27 cm × 24 cm.

  • Platinum Package — $900: Shikishi board measuring 38 cm × 38 cm.

Additional rules apply:

  • No additional sketch requests are available beyond the two packages.

  • Large personal items may be signed at the artist’s discretion, but sketches must comply with the maximum size guidelines.

  • One additional item may be brought for signing, such as a binder or graded-card slab case.

Planning to bring your own item? Choose carefully and remember that signing larger personal items is subject to the artist’s discretion.

3.4. General Conduct and Photography Rules

To ensure a smooth and fair meet-and-greet for everyone:

  • Follow all on-site staff instructions.

  • Ask a staff member before taking photos or videos of the artist.

  • Approach staff if you require assistance.

  • All decisions made by on-site staff are final.

Important: Check CAP’s official social media channels for package availability and session announcements before attending.

4. Post-Show Supper Spots: Where to Eat After 9pm

Hall 6A closes at 9pm, but the trading stories and post-tournament discussions don’t have to end there. Here are two options for a post-show meal with fellow collectors.

East Coast Lagoon Food Village (Best via Taxi / Grab)

  • Getting there: Around a 12-minute cab ride from EXPO, depending on traffic.

  • Vibe: A laid-back, open-air hawker centre along East Coast Park.

  • What to order: Satay, sambal stingray, seafood dishes and sugarcane juice.

  • Why go: Enjoy local hawker favourites while unwinding after a long day on the show floor.

Note: Individual stall opening hours vary, so check what’s available before heading over.

Beauty in The Pot @ Jewel Changi Airport

  • Getting there: Travel by taxi or MRT to Changi Airport, then head into Jewel.

  • Vibe: A cosy, air-conditioned hotpot restaurant.

  • What to order: Collagen soup, nourishing broths, sliced meats, handmade meatballs and fried bean curd skin.

  • Why go: Perfect for a group catch-up over a shared meal after a full day of trading and tournaments.

Note: The restaurant is non-halal. Check current opening hours before visiting.

5. Pre-Flight Stop: Jewel Changi Airport

Got some time to spare on Monday before heading off? Jewel Changi Airport is worth a visit before your flight.

  • HSBC Rain Vortex: Take a photo at the iconic indoor waterfall surrounded by a lush indoor forest.

  • Pokémon Center Singapore (Level 4): A must-visit for Pokémon and TCG fans looking for merchandise, plushies and collectibles to add to their haul.

Pro tip: If you’re looking for a specific Pokémon product, check availability before making a special trip.
